A fundamental aspect of human flourishing is to practice the art of non-conformity and self contemplation. To own our freedom and autonomy amidst the cacophony of the world is the result of very deliberate work: work to know the deepest parts of who you are and your place in this world.
During the pandemic, I conceptualised and co-directed Wax & Wane to celebrate life’s waxing and waning. Having control over your mind and how you treat others is the truest power one can have. Our experiences mirror the cycles of nature, and embracing every stage we find ourselves in is a stance that will free us from fearing an uncertain future.
